If this happens, hang up and call 1-800-633-4227. If you need to leave a message, you will at least be aware that a real Medicare representative will call you back to know that you are sure. You can then safely make a report with Medicare.

or TTY 1-866-290-4236.
Registering is free, so make sure you register all your phone numbers, both home and cell numbers.
30 days later from the date you registered, all the telemarketers at the National Do Not Call Registry are ordered to stop calls to you.
After 30 days, on your 31st day, and you are still getting fraudulent calls from Medicare, then make sure to file a complaint.
How To File A Complaint With The FCC or FTC
If it’s been 31 days since you registered with the National Do Not Call Registry, you can then make a report with the Federal Trade Commission or Federal Communications Commission.
