Just quickly, let’s discuss how final expense life insurance works.
Final expense is what’s known as a “simplified issue whole life insurance product.”
Designed specifically to cover burial and cremation costs, final expense life insurance is a simple solution for many people age 50 and older.
It provides quality coverage without the typical frustrations standard life insurance carries.
For example, there are no exams or blood withdrawals required to qualify for a final expense plan.
All one has to do is complete an application and possibly a phone interview to find out whether or not they’re approved.
What normally takes weeks or even months takes just seconds. In many cases, most of our clients get a decision during their first call. The same goes with the Final Expense Hotline if you decide to do business with them.
Most final expense plans are what’s called “whole life” insurance.
AtBuyLifeInsuranceForBurial.com, we believe whole life insurance to be the best option to take care of final expenses.
Why? Because final expense whole life plans never increase. The price stays the same throughout your entire life.
Moreover, they can never cancel your coverage due to age or health as long as you pay your premiums on time.
Of course, we all know we’ll die at some point, but no one can know the exact date. That’s why whole life insurance is a good choice since, unlike term insurance, the policy cannot terminate. Plus, plans can start as low as 18 years old up to 90 years old.
Lastly, if eligible, you might qualify for first-day full natural and accidental death coverage. If not, some plans offer what’s called “no questions asked” life insurance that guarantees acceptance.
Either way, regardless of your health, it’s highly likely there will be good quality options available.
Now we’ve quickly taken a look at how final expense insurance works, let’s look at the commercial again to remind ourselves of what’s on offer.
Then, I’ll break down some of the points in the video that you should be aware of to help you better understand how these plans work.
NOTE: You may have to turn off your ad blocker to watch this commercial if you can’t see it below.
For As Low As $1 A Day (18-second Mark)
The commercial claims there are plans available for as low as $1 a day.
Though in truth, this is most likely the lowest price a policy could be. Usually, insurance costs more than this, depending on what you purchase.
Based on our research, insurance costs around 50 to $70/month, depending on how much coverage our clients purchased. Sometimes less, sometimes more.
In short, it’s unlikely you’ll pay as low as a dollar a day for coverage.
$30,000 in Coverage (26-second Mark)
Like the point above, the commercial states that you may qualify for up to $30,000 in life insurance coverage.
For some, this gives the impression that customers could qualify for $30,000 in coverage for only a dollar a day. That’s just not the case!
The Final Expense Hotline commercial is simply stating that there are options available for up to $30,000.
In my experience, most clients end up with less than that. Simply because the premium rate is either way beyond their budget or because they don’t need that amount.
However, if you would like $30,000 in coverage or more, we at Buy Life Insurance For Burial can help! We have plans available offering $50,000 or more that you may qualify for.
No Medical Exams, Rate Increases, Or Cancellations (32-second Mark)
This statement by the Final Expense Hotline is entirely true. As discussed above, these are final expense whole life insurance plans. And one of the major benefits of these plans is that there are no medical exams required or rate increases.
Moreover, as long as you pay on time, they can never cancel your policy.
In this section, the fine print states that this advertisement is from a media company that brokers to individual agents or agencies.
Essentially, this means that the Final Expense Hotline is a brokerage advertising company—not necessarily an insurance carrier. Instead, they play advertisements for agents or agencies buying their TV commercial space and connect you with agents that can help.
What does this mean? In short, it’s not clear exactly which insurance companies the agent or agencies actually represent—more on that in a minute.
Well, the good news is that the Final Expense Hotline promotes final expense whole life insurance plans, which we at BuyLifeInsuranceForBurial.com think are the best choice for seniors looking for peace of mind.
Whole life insurance assures clients that their final expenses are covered, which is clearly a great deal. The only downside, however, is that it’s not clear what type of agent, agency, or insurance carrier you will access if you call this number.
For example, you could be connected to an independent broker who represents multiple carriers and can shop around to find you the best deal. Alternatively, you may end up speaking to a captive agent who can only recommend the one product their company offers.
Clearly, the first option is by far the better choice, but without anything guaranteeing who’ll you’ll connect with, we believe you should look to us for a second opinion.
We Are Independent Brokers
We here at BuyLifeInsuranceForBurial.com are independent brokers, and we would love for you to get in touch to see what we can do for you!
As brokers, we can shop ALL the major carriers to find you the best combination of price and coverage.
In many cases, we can offer our clients the best deal available—one that’s both competitively priced and the best match for your individual health concerns.
Why is this so important? Because honestly, some agencies won’t even try to offer you first-day full coverage. Others will charge you too much money or have limited underwriting flexibility.
Simply put, why would you risk securing adequate coverage when you could give us a call and let us shop all the major companies for you?
